About the Project:
High level of unemployment in Armenia has resulted in hard social-economic conditions in the country including urban and rural areas. In rural Armenia the vast majority of population generates their daily living expenses through engagement in animal husbandry and horticulture. Farming is the main source of income for the majority of the rural communities. The income generated from farming ensures food and nutrition, clothing, utility costs and other necessary expenses for the family. By providing assistance to the families in need the project will enable them to live a dignified life, having access to food, clothing, education for children, medical services etc.
The project will support rural families by providing them agricultural inputs (cow, sheep, goats, pigs, beehives, poultry) as a stable source of income along with relevant technical assistance and training packages.
